Why Is The SOLIDWORKS Installer Blank?

The SOLIDWORKS download zip file contains HTML files which can be blocked during the Windows extract process and causes the installation manager to open as a blank window.

To prevent this issue from occurring, please follow the steps outlined below. If you have already encountered the problem, start by deleting the extracted files before proceeding with the steps provided.

1. Open the “Downloads” folder on your computer, or wherever the location of the download     file is located.
2. Right-click the zip file you downloaded.
3. Select “Properties” from the pop-up menu.
4. Go to the “General” tab and find “Unblock” under “Security.”
5. Check the box and select “Apply.”
6. Click “OK” to keep your changes.

Now you can extract the files and run the installer.
