A short article to walk through the process of accessing the SOLIDWORKS Curriculum for instructors.
The SOLIDWORKS Curriculum is a helpful guide for instructors to teach their students how to use SOLIDWORKS. It lays out a learning path for mastering the software, starting from the basics. And it's free to access for any users with an EDU license and SOLIDWORKS account.
- Open SOLIDWORKS Education Edition. Select the Help menu in the upper right, (the small question mark within a circle) and then click the Instructors Curriculum option within that menu. It will open up a link in your default browser.
- If need be, click Accept All to remove the Cookies pop-up.
- Select which curriculum you wish to download and view by clicking the Download button at the bottom of the given section.
Note:Certain curricula may only be accessable to customers who have a currently active subscription, such as "Fundamentals of 3D Design and Simulation" and the "Fundamentals of SOLIDWORKS Electrical" as seen above. - On the following page, select Download Media. The files you're looking for should download into your Downloads folder.
- The educational manuals themselves can be found here:

They may prove to be a very helpful resource to structure your educational planning. You will, however, need a SOLIDWORKS account to access said material. - Here you can find a series of videos that walk you through the given lessons. These are, unfortunately, also locked behind a SOLIDWORKS login.

Hopefully these resources will prove useful for your educational planning purposes. Students are expected to receive their file sets from their instructors. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us here at CADimensions through the Contact Us page.
