How Do I Find The Log Files In PDM
The PDM logs are a useful troubleshooting tool that can be accessed from the PDM Administration tool then saved to send to the support team during the troubleshooting of an issue.
There are two different sets of PDM logs, the client logs and the archive server logs. Depending on the situation, your support team may request one or both to gather more information about an issue.
Client logs:
1. Open the PDM Administration tool and double click on Log file in the lower left column under Local Settings.
2. Then click on the save icon, select a location and verify it is saving as a .COG file type.
Archive Server logs:
1. Open the PDM Administration tool and right-click on the server’s name and select “Show Archive Server Logs”
2. Then click on the save icon, select a location and verify it is saving as a .COG file type.
