How do I download SOLIDWORKS?

You will want to get the download from the Downloads Portal

You will want to get the download from the Downloads Portal: https://www.solidworks.com/sw/support/downloads.htm. Log in or create your account if you have not created one before.

Get the download for the proper installer version of SOLIDWORKS. Both clients and licensing server downloads are contained in SOLIDWORKS Products. You do not have to download anything from the bottom box. I recommend always using the latest available Service Pack (SP) if possible.

If you need a version older than three years, let me know and I will provide it. I will need to know the year and service pack if required.
