Deactivating a License

- Select the Program to open it.
- Select Move your product license(s) to a new/upgraded computer, then select Next.
4. Select the product(s) you wish to deactivate.
5. You will be asked if you want to deactivate over the internet or through email. It is recommended that you choose Automatically over the Internet.
a. Automatically over the internet is used if the machine is connected to the internet. This activation will automatically occur over the internet.
b. Manually via e-mail is used if the machine does not have an internet connection. This activation generates a request file to send in an email to SOLIDWORKS and the response file from SOLIDWORKS is loaded into the SOLIDWORKS product activation.
Once the process has completed, a dialog box will appear with the result.
You have successfully deactivated the license, you can close the Activation Wizard
