How do I Deactivate the SolidNetwork License Manager?

This article will outline the steps to deactivate the SolidNetwork License Manager on your server.

This article only goes through the steps to deactivate the SolidNetwork License Manager. If you plan on installing the SolidNetwork License Manager on another machine, refer to our guide on activating and installing the SolidNetwork License Manager. If you are planning to move the SolidNetwork License Manager to another machine, it is required to first deactivate it from the current machine.

To deactivate the SolidNetwork License Manager, the necessary steps go as follows:

1.   Launch the SOLIDWORKS SolidNetwork License Manager Server from the Windows program listing > SOLIDWORKS Tools menu.

2.   Select the Server Administration Tab > Modify… .

3.   Select “Move your product license(s) to a new/upgraded computer”.

4.   Click Next.

5.   Click the Select All button > choose “Automatically over the internet (recommended)”.

6.   Add your contact information and click NextTHIS IS REQUIRED!

7.   Once the process has completed, a window will state Transfer Succeeded. Click Finish.

Your SolidNetwork License Manager is now deactivated.
