How Do I Activate a Network License?

Network license activation must be carried out as a result of one of the following activities.

• When adding a new license to the SolidNetWork License Manager Server.
• After moving the SolidNetWork License Manager Server to a new machine.
• After upgrading the SolidNetWork License Manager Server to a new version.
• Yearly required reactivation.

To activate a SolidNetWork license:

1. Start the SolidNetWork License Manager by clicking Start > SOLIDWORKS Tools version > SolidNetWork License Manager Server version.
   
2. Select Modify.
   
3. Then Activate/Reactivate product license(s) and Next.
   
4. Verify the server name and port numbers and select next ** Port Number 25734 is the default and 25735 is the default Vendor Daemon Port Number**
   
   
   
5. Next, we need to choose the serial numbers with the select all button, then choose the activate Automatically over the internet and add a email to the Contact Information field.
   
   NOTE: If you need to add a new license you can do so by selecting the Add button before selecting all licenses. 
6. Now it will confirm the activation was successful by presenting the following message and    you can select Finish to exit.
